It's always been a blessing and a bit of a curse to have famous parents when it comes to music. However, with the success of Rufus Wainwright, Jacob Dylan etc this seems to be lifting. Jessica is a talented song writer who released her debut 'I Am Not' in 2010. She has an eclectic mix of styles ranging from acoustic folk to out and out pop and seems to have inherited the song writing gift of her mother, Mary Hopkin and the studio wizardry of her father, Tony Visconti.

Now in his 70s the man once described as the 'Welsh Bob Dylan' was one of the most important architects of the Welsh language music scene. Originally discovered in a Manchester club by Jimmy Savile he recorded his first single in 1965 with Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones. However, things didn't go well and after a breakdown he returned to his home in Solva and eventually began singing in Welsh. His style of psych folk has had a huge impact on the music scene in Wales and younger bands such as the Super Furry Animals and Gorky's Zogotic Mynci. He recently moved to Canada after a youthful romance was re-ignited.
